Why does a serious newspaper like Austria's Der Standard do an interview with the boss of a satirical political party like the Bierpartei? Because we live in crazy times and it is the jokers who say the most reasonable things. So, read the interview (or watch it on video), have a bit of a laugh, and maybe learn some useful German expressions for talking about politics (and beer).
